Sie reisen in schwarzen Mercedes-Limousinen, jeder für sich, wohnen getrennt in Luxushotels und haben jede Nacht separate Backstage-Umkleidekabinen. Direkt auf der Bühne sind sie zusammen. Wir beobachten Morton Harket, Magne Furuholmen und Paul Waaktaar ganz genau mit unserer Kamera. Unsere Mission ist es herauszufinden, warum diese drei jungen Freunde so kalt zueinander geworden sind. Etwas ist total faul zwischen ihnen, aber was? Die beiden Blondinen in der Gruppe, Magne und Paul, gründeten ihre erste gemeinsame Gruppe im Alter von 10 Jahren. Und wie viele Teenager träumten sie davon, weltberühmte Rockmusiker zu werden. In Norwegen in den 70er Jahren war es ein unmöglicher und kindischer Traum. Das Land war vor allem durch Zero Points beim Eurovision Song Contest bekannt und hat noch nie eine über die Grenzen hinaus bekannte Band hervorgebracht. Aber ausgerechnet diese Jungs taten es. Sein Traum wurde wahr. Aber war es? Alle drei beantworten diese Frage mit einem leichten Zögern. Sie träumten wirklich davon, ernsthafte Rockstars zu werden, nicht Teenager-Idole, die in Modemagazinen dargestellt werden.
